LINDEN MB CHURCHMEN’S HIKE

Update * Please also bring a lawn chair.  The bus plans to leave by 6:30, please be at the church before that.*


Grade 10 and upward
JULY 15, 2023
Ha Ling peak- View overlooking Canmore and the Bow River valley.
4km one way –8km round trip 3-4 hrs. on your feet
Elevation gain- 800M. -average of 200m/Km.
Well maintained trail except last 200 meters which has rock scrambles, loose rocks and small boulders.

WHAT TO BRING:
Bear Spray (if you have some bring along) very popular trail so chances of seeing a bear is slim but not impossible.
Hiking Back-PackLayered clothes- convertible pants; t-shirts, fleece tops, rain jacket, head gear
Hiking Shoes with ankle support is preferred
Trekking Poles (if you have) for descent
Water & High Energy Snack (for at top)
Sunscreen & Insect Repellent 
Lawn Chair

We will plan on leaving early Saturday 6:30 am (you are responsible for your own breakfast) from the church on July 15, 2023 and have a meal after the hike and then be home sometime late afternoon to early evening.
