Through the year you will find us typically hosting 1 of 4 kinds of events. "Reach" events, in which we host a fun evening to draw as many youth as possible. "Grow", when the leaders put on a Youth Alpha program to teach directly The Way of Jesus, and inspire youth to follow it. After that is "Celebrate", with a meal, worship and testimonies. Finally is "Serve" when the youth work at a project to help others. Occasionally the Wednesday evening activity is skipped in favour of a weekend retreat. Youth traditionally consists of Grade 7-12 students growing in authentic relationship with God and others through activities and challenges which promote spiritual, community and ministry development. Events are regularly scheduled for 7 pm on Wednesday evenings at the church.
Our team of volunteers include people from our church family. Some areas of focus are: Disciple-making, Hospitality, Events, and Prayer.
If you have a heart for any of these areas, and agree with the core competencies, then please complete an Youth Ministry application from the church office and set up a time for a brief interview.
